Established in 1996 by Taunton Christians Together, Open Door has been a shining example of the Church engaging with the community by providing services to the vulnerable and homeless. The centre sees at least 30 clients a day and over 100 different clients in a given month. 90% are under the age of 40 and 95% are male and have no family or no association with family. The CCF awarded a grant of £5000 to help Open Door move to a new, bigger and more appropriate premises to expand and better serve those in need.
